About Me

What started off as making and selling veggie boxes on my front lawn turned into a wider homewares and joinery business very quickly.

I saw a need for the community to band together during the COVID-19 pandemic, and being able to provide my neighbours and locals with timber products to liven-up their homes has been wonderful.

I've been working in the joinery, cabinetry and fit-out industry for 20 years, but being able to build Vale Living has felt like a hobby-turned-career.

I'm passionate about recycling and being a sustainable member of the community, so you'll find that a lot of my products are made from recycled timbers or repurposed materials. I find what others may see as trash and turn it into something brand new.

I'd like to believe I'm helping the planet while crafting beautiful pieces for people's homes at the same time.
